Flotsam Homegrown Photo Comp

Flotsam Homegrown Photo Challenge is back – and there’s cash and prizes in the mix. We’re looking for images that showcase Australian surf culture, particularly its surf and connection to coast.

Criteria:

Photo submissions should be suitable for Flotsam’s annual outdoor surf and ocean photography Festival, which place annually. Images are required to have been shot in Australia.

The Festival is founded on the Gold Coast, but is expanding this division to include shots from anywhere across Australia’s extraordinary surfing wonderland. Let’s show the world what Homegrown brilliance looks like from an Australian lens.

Submitted images may also be selected to appear in an outdoor photo exhibition that captures peak moments from our surfing heritage by some of our region’s top photographers.

Winners will be announced at the Flotsam Homegrown event at Burleigh Heads, May 15. You do not need to attend to be awarded ( but yeah, it’s way more fun if you do!)
