How to Vote

1. Read through the list of songs for each decade.
2. Heart at least 2 songs from each decade.
3. Don't see your favourite? Add it yourself — see below.

1. Check it isn't already there.
2. Add the song name, and a screenshot of something relevant to the song , the artist, and the year of release.
3. Can't work out the details? Google it — and if you want to, screenshot the artist image and drop it in with your entry. (You can do it if you try really hard.) Or jsut let me know and i will add the songs for you.

At the end of the survey, add your email address. After the party, I'll send you a link to the Spotify playlist so you can enjoy the Hottest 50 even if you couldn't join us for the countdown on the day.

The countdown will feature the top-voted song from each of the last 50 years — some years will be harder to call than others, which is exactly what makes the results such a nailbiter.
