The St. Lawrence connects us, from Montreal to the Magdalen Islands. Wherever we are, we all view it from a different perspective. The St. Lawrence can be a source of joy, rejuvenation, and nostalgia. It is also a place of work, leisure, and inspiration. Whether we live on its shores or further inland, we depend on the St. Lawrence and we must protect it for future generations. Come share your perspective on this fragile giant through your photos and artwork!

There are five categories for submission:

$2,500 worth of prizes

• 1^st prize: $250
• 2^nd prize: $100
• 3^rd prize: $50
• People's Choice Award: $500

The "Regards sur le Saint-Laurent" photo contest ("Glimpses of the St. Lawrence") is organized by Stratégies Saint-Laurent and Réseau Québec maritime, and is open to all residents of Quebec 18 years or older. Each participant can submit a maximum of 5 images, regardless of the category. Prizes will be determined by a jury made up of professional photographers and scientists. The People's Choice Award will be attributed by the public.

The winners will be revealed in October 2022 during an activity organized in collaboration with the Cœur des sciences, a cultural centre that is dedicated to promoting scientific culture.
