The Arc New York 2026 Art Competition

GENERAL INFORMATION

·       Open to all people with I/DD, supported by a Chapter of The Arc NY

·       No entry fee required

·       One entry per artist will be permitted

·       All artwork must be appropriate for display in a public environment

·       Artwork must be original and owned by the artist

·       Entry must be submitted by Wednesday, July 1, 2026

·       Artwork will be judged by the public

ENTRY & COMPETITION INFORMATION

Artists may submit one piece of their choice into one of three categories: Abstract & Contemporary, Landscape & Realism, or Alternative & Mixed Mediums.

Winners of the Art Competition will be selected and notified prior to a virtual presentation. A first place of $200, second place of $100, and third place of $50 will be awarded for each category. Awards will be presented during a virtual celebration in September. All questions can be directed to Christina Canino at Christina.Canino@thearcny.org.
