Why Pair-Wise Voting?
We chose pairwise comparison voting because it’s simple, fair, and grounded in thoughtful participation. Instead of overwhelming voters with a long list of proposals, this method presents just two at a time—making it easier to reflect, compare, and decide. Over many small comparisons across the community, a clear picture of our shared priorities naturally emerges.
This approach has been used in academic research, budgeting, and decentralized governance for good reason: it’s bias-resistant, newcomer-friendly, and elevates the proposals that consistently resonate across diverse perspectives. In a community like BGI Nexus—rooted in collaboration, not competition—pairwise voting lets collective intelligence lead the way.
