SNC Spring Photo Submission
SNC Shareholders and Descendants are invited to showcase photos that embody the essence of our people, land, and traditions. These images will work to tell a story of the enduring legacy of our people and the values instilled in us. Through your lens, we hope to see the beauty and richness of our culture and heritage.
Our People: Capture the spirit of our people, showcasing their wisdom and resilience.
Our Land: Capture breathtaking landscapes that showcase our ancestral home, in any season.
Our Traditions: Share moments that depict the essence of our cultural practices like subsistence hunting, crafting, or other traditional activities.
Participants may submit as many photos as they wish, including family historical photos that align with these categories. At the close of the photo submission, each category will feature a winner drawn at random. Winners will receive a $50 cash gift card for their participation.
*Please note: this site is most user-friendly with a cell phone/smartphone, but participants can also use a tablet or laptop/desktop to submit their photos.
Please include the following details for each photo submitted:
- Category (our people, our land, or our traditions – or any combination of the three)
- Month and Year when the photo(s) were taken
- Location of the photo(s), if possible
- Shareholders and/or Descendants in the photo(s)
Photo Requirements:
- Label photos by “Last Name, First Initial _ Photo Name”. Example: “Doe, J._Berry Picking”
- Photos must be 300 dots per inch or 300 DPI for optimal visual quality
- Photos must fit into at least one of the following categories: our people, our land, our traditions
Deadline: Photos must be submitted before 5:00 PM on May 13, 2024, to be eligible for prize(s).
Additional Information:
- For those using a laptop or desktop, you will find the scroll bar within the grey submission field and not on the far right of the screen where it usually is located.
- Descendants should also include in the photo description which Shareholder they are related to. *This will help our team with the verification process to be eligible for prize(s).
- Photos submitted may be featured in online and print marketing such as SNC's corporate website at snc.org, social media platforms, SNC's Quarterly Venture Newsletter, SNC Messengers as well as materials for SNC’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders, and more.
