AI-generated image of my research

Welcome to the image contest of the KBC DAYS 2023!

In the same spirit as this year's theme, we ask you to submit image(s) for the “AI-generated image of my research” contest. You do not need special skills or equipment to generate such an image - just be creative and choose the right keywords! Use your favourite AI image generator or one of our suggestions of free generators such as DALL.E, Adobe Stock or Night café, which only require creating an account. You can also use generators with a subscription to a pricing plan, like, for example, Midjourney (see links below).

The image should represent a creative and artistic vision of your research or what science inspires you about. As a heading, please submit the sentence you used to generate it and which generator was used. Each person can submit 1 to 3 images.

For your inspiration, we added a few examples created by the KBC Communications team on the contest webpage.

The deadline to submit your image is 7 November 2023.

The voting will start on Day 2 of the KBC DAYS, Wednesday, 8 November, and continues until after lunch, 13:00. Please vote only once and distribute 5 points (dots) to the photos you like most, assigning a max of 3 dots/per image.

The image that receives, in the end, the most points will win a nice prize sponsored by KBC.

The photo contest winner will be announced at the end of the conference on Wednesday, 9 November, at around 15:30.

Please note that you can participate in the photo contest and vote whether or not you are planning to participate in the KBC DAYS conference!

We also might use these images as a slide show during the conference breaks.
