City of Lake Forest's Halloween Haunted House Contest 2026

Think your home is the spookiest and most creative in Lake Forest? Submit a photo of your decorated house this Halloween season for a chance to be crowned the City’s 2026 Haunted House Champion.

How to Enter

• Submit a photo of your decorated house.
• Include your address as the image title to be featured on the Halloween House Map.
• Please submit only 1 photo of your haunted house (collages are encouraged).

Timeline

• Submission Period: October 1-24
• Voting Period: October 25-31
• Winner Announced: November 6

Prizes

• The winner will be featured on the City’s social media.
• The City Council will present the winner with a yard sign declaring them the 2026 Winner at a future Council meeting.
