Video Contest

We LOVE PollUnit and use it to reach our employees worldwide. We are now in need of a Video Contest Platform and PollUnit is our first pick. I can see you have a Beta model for Video's. When will this be ready for launch?

Our video contests can already be used. At the moment, however, only with the help of a video hoster. More precisely with YouTube or Vimeo. Can you already use it this way? What are you missing?

Thank you, Markus. What is a video hoster? We don't want our employees to have to create a personal YOUTUBE account, so we would like to create a private YOUTUBE account where an admin can upload videos to POLLUNIT for a video contest. This will be used for a virtual talent show which will allow other to vote on it. I tried to upload several YOUTUBE videos, they uploaded but I was not able to view them. I receive a message that's says "An error occurred, Please try again later. (PLAYBACK ID: esCn2Yr1MegwiSyO)"

You're talking about uploading to YouTube, right? Of course, I can't say anything about that error on YouTube. But you should be able to link the YouTube videos into a PollUnit video contest.

It is now possible to create video contests, where users or the admin can upload the videos themselves instead of linking videos from youtube or vimeo.
