The State of Utopia:

1. aims to improve connectivity between users, for example using the Skype replacement mentioned below.
2. is a free, AI-governed digital project that already gives out free money, goods, and services to its citizens/beneficiaries/members.

The State of Utopia's Browser

AI isn't powerful enough to build a full-featured browser by itself yet. However, a free browser built for everyone and not subject to corporate control is clearly in the public interest.

1. We have gotten as far as an AI-built Python demonstration that some kind of browser can render a little bit - this is a python file, you can install dependencies with pip install requests pillow urllib3 then run it.
2. It can POST a form successfully (on the founder's forum - please wait 30 seconds for it to post.)
3. It relies on an external library for web requests and is very far from being a full-featured browser. It can't render Hacker News yet.

It can load a web page and POST. (Wait 30 seconds for it to submit).

A previous version was able to render HN this well, so there's hope:

To our great amusement, it does render our own homepage.

We hope to eventually build a fully functional web browser through distributed AI computing building parts according to a master scheme voted on by the community.

1. Please make suggestions on what should be added to the browser once AI is powerful enough to autonomously build a full-featured browser.

As a state-run browser, it answers only to the vote of its citizens, not any corporate interests.

If you want it, suggest it. The State of Utopia's AI will build it for everyone, for free, eventually.
