Evaluate uploaded images for photo contest

Hi. I am creating a pollunit for our nature club photo contest. How do my judges see all of the uploaded images in a gallery to vote on them? If the images are uploaded into 2 categories, how do I see the images by category? Or should I create separate pollunits by category to make judging easier? Please advise. Thanks!

first of all, I removed the link to your PollUnit because this is a public forum.

I also noticed that you created a PollUnit of type Survey. A Survey in PollUnit is mainly meant as a questionnaire and is not optimized for jury or public photo voting workflows.

For your use case, I would strongly recommend using our Photo Contest type instead. It is specifically designed for photography clubs and competitions and already includes features for:

• image galleries
• jury voting
• public voting
• submission categories
• voting categories

You can create two submission categories. Judges can then browse all uploaded images in gallery view and also filter by category.

For multi-stage contests, we currently recommend this workflow:

1. Collect submissions in the original photo contest
2. Create a clone/copy for the jury voting
3. Let judges select the top images per category
4. In the original contest, remove or disapprove all non-finalists
5. Let all club members vote on the finalists
