The Arc New York 2024 Art Competition

The Arc New York 2024 Art Competition submissions are ready for your vote! All participating artists are individuals supported by a Chapter of The Arc New York. Their talents are so great, we just had to share them with the wider audience. 

Voting will be open from noon on July 27th through August 23rd, or when the maximum number of participants is reached.

JUDGING INFORMATION

This year, all entrants will be judged into one of the following three categories by you, the voter: Painting, Photography, or Alternative Mediums and Subjects (mixed mediums)

Painting: Acrylic, watercolor, and other works of art only using paint

Photography: All submissions that are photographs

Alternative (mixed) Mediums & Subjects: Any and all artwork that is either a sculpture, glasswork, beads, etc., or a combination of materials should be judged into this category.

Also, as a voting judge, you will assign the artwork a number of stars on a scale of 1 through 5, with 5 being the highest of scores.

Our top three placement winners in each category will be based off your votes!

After all votes are received, A first place prize of $200, second place prize of $100, and third place prize of $50 will be awarded for each category. Winners will be announced and awards will be presented during a virtual presentation, to be held September 25th from 1-2pm.

Entrant retains ownership and all rights to submitted artwork; however, by entering the contest, entrants grant The Arc New York permission, royalty-free, to publish submitted artwork on the website, newsletter and to reproduce images for promotional purposes only. As conditions of this permission, The Arc New York will credit all artwork with the artist’s name.
