2026 Ceiba Adventures Photo Contest

Welcome to the 15th Annual Ceiba Photo Contest!

We hope you had a fabulous year adventuring in your favorite places! Once again, we are looking forward to seeing your video creations.

FOR YOUR PHOTO SUBMISSIONS WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR:

1. The decisive moment – that split second that captures a specific moment and tells a story.
2. Layered images – To maintain an interesting narrative it is essential to draw the viewer into the scene with images that have different layers and thereby telling a story – a foreground, a middle ground, and a background. Not just a pretty, flat snapshot, whether that is landscapes, action or portraits. If you need more than one image to tell the story, then by all means, add them in.

PRIZES:

1. Grand Prize – $150 cash awarded for best photo.
2. Honorable Mentions – Ceiba merchandise to be determined and photo credits for usage in social media and website awarded for outstanding photos.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & CONTEST RULES:

1. Entry period starts Friday, December 19, 2025.
2. Final deadline for submissions is midnight, Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
3. All photos must be entered using this form.
4. Your first and last name must be included in each image file name along with a 3 digit number: ex. “Jane_Doe_001.jpg” with incremental numbers for each additional image.
5. Eligible photos may be entered only by Ceiba clients from Ceiba trips - past and present.
6. All photos must have been taken by the individual submitting them.
7. Ceiba Adventures, Inc. reserves the right to use all entries for their website, social media and marketing materials either online and/or printed. Photo credit will be given.

JUDGING:

Once the January 14 deadline passes for submissions, there will be a 2 week voting period open to anyone and everyone until midnight, Saturday, January 31. Final results will be posted on our web page https://www.ceibaadventures.com/photo-contest-credits on Monday, February 9, 2026.

DATES TO KEEP IN MIND:

Friday, December 19 - Wednesday, January 14 - Submission period for all entries.

Thursday, January 15 - Saturday, January 31 - Voting period open to everyone.

Monday, February 9 - Final Results will be posted on the Ceiba website at https://www.ceibaadventures.com/photo-contest-credits
