SC@Work: 2026 Photo Contest
It's back! The S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) is excited to launch the fourth year of its SC@Work: Photo Contest!
After last year’s amazing response with countless photo submissions representing our different employers across the state, we want this year’s contest to be bigger and better than ever - and we need you to do just that!
We’re calling upon businesses of all sizes and across all industries to show us what a day at work looks like through their own lens. Employers are asked to submit pictures of employees on the job that capture the passion and energy of our state’s bustling workforce. With your help, we can show off all the outstanding employers, jobs, and career paths South Carolina has to offer!
Not a professional photographer? No problem! All skill levels are encouraged to submit photos: amateurs, experts, and everyone in between.
Whether you submit a photo of a teacher in the classroom, an accountant crunching numbers, a mechanic servicing a car, a veterinarian working with animals, or a forklift operator in the warehouse, show us how you see SC@Work!
The deadline for submitting entries is Friday, June 5, 2026. (Photos should be at least 300px wide or 300px tall.)
Winning Categories
- One Best Overall Workforce Photo for the State of South Carolina
- One Small Business Winner for the State of South Carolina
- One Regional Winner per workforce area (Upstate, Central, Pee Dee, South Coast)
- One People's Choice
Winners will be selected by the State Workforce Development Board and SC DEW's Leadership. Once winners are selected, they will be announced during Workforce Development Month in September, and the winning photos will be featured at the Workforce Champion Award Ceremony, www.dew.sc.gov, and DEW's social media platforms.
