Hello and welcome to the BIS Has Talent 2023 Platform for Voting and commenting on the work of the talented clients of Brain Injury Services!
On the following pages, you will be able to view photos of each creation submitted to our BIS Has Talent Art Exhibition within 4 categories: art, craft, composition, and culinary. You will be able to see a photo of each creation, read the title and description, rate each piece on a scale of 1 to 5 stars based on the judging criteria below, and you can also leave a comment for the artist about their work.
SUBMISSION CATEGORIES
- ART: Open-ended and unstructured expression of creativity! Includes: painting, drawing, sketching, photography, digital art
- CRAFT: Something with utility that is decorative, functional, or both! Includes: sculptures, woodworking, weaving, knitting, crochet, quilting, embroidery, jewelry, seasonal decor, glass-work, pottery
- COMPOSITION: Arrangement of words, including: essays, short stories, lyrics, & poetry
- CULINARY: Preparing, cooking and/or presentation of food items
JUDGING CRITERIA
Please consider the following judging criteria as you submit your ratings for each artistic creation.
- CREATIVITY: uniqueness & originality - imaginative use of materials, ideas
- TECHNIQUE: good use of chosen materials, medium, and tools
- ELEMENTS OF ART: line, shape, texture, form, space, color, and value
- TOTAL PRESENTATION: appropriately finished, design, and fit within the chosen category

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOTING:
**Don't forget to CLICK on the images to see them FULL SCREEN - you may then "pinch" to zoom in or out to get a better look at the artwork!
Below you will see the entries for the first of four Categories: ART
Please submit your ratings for each photo by selecting a number of stars (1-5) that you feel is appropriate for each. You can also click on the chat bubbles to submit comments if you wish.
(**NOTE: You may be asked to type in a display name to proceed, but you DO NOT have to create a poll unit account to provide ratings or to leave a comment for an artist.)
When you have entered ratings for all the photos, select the button at the bottom of the screen with text: "SAVE AND FINISH" and continue to the next page, where you will see a button to "CLICK HERE TO VOTE FOR THE CRAFT CATEGORY". Continue to follow these instructions, until you have voted for the entries in all four categories.
