2023 TAS Photo Contest

TAS Members,

Thank you for voting in the 2023 TAS Photo Contest. As a reminder, only TAS members should be voting in this contest. If you are not a member, please visit our website to join TAS. https://www.tampaaudubon.org/join

The judging period runs from January 1st at noon till January 15th at noon.

Best in Show (with the highest overall score) will receive $200, and in each category first place will receive $100, second place $50, and third place $25.

How to judge:

1. Give yourself at least 30 minutes to perform this activity.

2. Evaluate each photo (on a scale of 1 to 10) on the following criteria:

• Technical Quality
• Originality
• Artistic Merit

3. Judge all photos, not just the ones you like! This is important to get a fair vote.

4. Vote ONCE for each photo. Please do not try to vote for a photo multiple times to get a photo to win. That will result in the nullification of all of your votes in the contest.

Notes:

1. The website randomly orders the photos to minimize bias.
2. By clicking on the "description" link for each photo you can read the description the photographer provided when they submitted the photo.

Winners of the photo contest will be announced during our February Photo Club meeting scheduled for February 15, 2024 at 7pm EST and in the TAS newsletter, The Avocet.
