Evaluate and view camera settings
When a digital camera takes a photo, it usually stores all kinds of information about the circumstances of the shot in the photo. This includes technical information such as ISO, shutter speed and aperture. This information determines how the camera has exposed the picture. For many photographers and photo clubs these metadata are therefore of great importance.
With the help of the EXIF data (Exchangeable Image File Format), you can verify whether the settings for the motif have been chosen sensibly. Many members of photo clubs use this information as a technical basis for discussion.
If you run a PollUnit photo contest, you can publish these details for your participants. As administrator you can also access the extended EXIF data of the photos without having to download the photos. The extended metadata includes time and place, correction filters and processing presets. The photographers can adjust, add or remove the EXIF data of their photos with image programs.
