I have enabled the "Request additional image uploader information" and I create two additional fields to request information (custom tags) when uploading the photos.
There are several issues, some seem easier to fix, others more difficult:
- When creating the poll and uploading a batch of images you are not able to set the custom tags in the photos (this is not a big problem for me)
- The critical issue is when you try to edit the custom tags of one of the photos, then all the other photos custom tags are also changed with the same value as you input in the one you edited. It seems as if the custom tag is sharing the same variable for all photos.

We do not offer the custom tags in the batch uploader because this feature is for collecting data from participants. Only admins have access to this view and showing all fields would make the view very complex. Therefore we would like to keep it that way for now.
To your critical issue. I had to test a little bit first, but I think I know what happened to you now.
After a user has filled in the custom tags, we automatically fill in the fields for a second participation, because in most cases contact data and similar information is requested. If you now edit an option where these fields were not filled in initially, our automatic prefill will take effect.
But this is very confusing, I have to admit. My suggestion would be to only prefill the custom tags if it is a new image/new option and not when in editing mode.
We will improve this very soon!
