Cloning a survey brings with it IP address data for exclusion :(

Hello,
I've been using the survey cloning function and noticed that people who participated in the preceding survey ARE excluded from the new survey (when using the IP function). Is this intentional? There should be checkbox control over this if so. You would expect a new survey cloned from an existing survey to be handled as a NEW survey, but it is not. Thank you.

A cloned survey should not check the used IP addresses from the original one. Maybe you already participated in the cloned one? If you choose »Delete all voters« from the context menu of the cloned survey you can make sure that the survey has no participants. Then you can try again. If this is not working, please write to support@pollunit.com with the links to the surveys.

And keep in mind that the IP security check can filter out too many people when multiple users share the same IP address, such as in corporate networks, or when using IP masking tools like VPNs or Apple's Private Relay.
