Insisting that my voters create an account

I have created a photo voting poll and the users I want to vote are being forced to create an account and login - can this not be bypassed? They shouldn't have to create an account surely if I have given them the link and password???

an account is only required when you have chosen "Account Required" or "Invitation Required" in the "Limit Access" section (advanced step).
