Hi, I have sent invitations out to our club members for our next competition using the groups facility. Some members have either not received invitations or only received one. When I try sending individual invitations they are still not getting an invite, and the log of emails sent is not showing an increase in number of emails sent. Any ideas what I should do? When I got the first reply saying they hadn't got an invite, and I tried re-sending they still didn't get an invite, so I got them to send their pictures to me and I entered them from the admin page, however, now that a few more have had issues, I don't particularly want to have to enter everyone's pictures myself.
If you invite them a second time, our system does not create a new invitation. You can resend an invitation via the invitation evaluation section (context menu > evaluation > invitations). Here you find all invitations. You find a »remind« function in the context menu of each invitation (when not already used).
Why an email is not received by the user is hard to tell. It may be stucked in the spam folder or in fire wall settings of a corporate network. If you send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with an example email which does not receive our emails I can check our logs. We may find the reason there.
