Pairwise compare number of votes

The wizard won't allow more votes than the number of pictures. But I expected that having 39 pictures we have 39*38/2 possibilities. Not sure why it won't allow more than 39 vote per user.

I am not sure if I understood you correctly. The number of rounds can only be changed if there are no votes yet. If you delete all voters you should be able to change the number of rounds.

The purpose of the pairwise comparison is to avoid comparing all images with each other, although the number of rounds can still be adjusted to that need.

Basically you are right!
At the moment you need at least certain amount of options to start the voting and this depends on the number of rounds.
If you take 2 out of 39 pictures there are 39*38/2 possibilities, where a fraction of 39 rounds should be enough.
We took this rule to fit for less images and rounds so that the same combination of images does not likely occur twice.
But we can for sure do some rework here.
