Hi Markus
I'm testing a dot voting vote, where a person has 6 stars, with a max of 3 stars for one category.
On the test, it shows each vote being saved. But after allotting all 6 it doesn't say how to exit/confirm that your votes have been registered. Will that be added?
Also, can voters just vote 5-stars (or less if that's what they want) rather than use all 6? If so, is it possible to make sure that they use all 6?
I also see that I can go back into the link and remove my original choices. is it not possible to make the votes fixed once voted?
Many thanks for your help.
Mark
Votes are saved immediately after they are cast, and a small »saved« message appears. This works similarly to heart-votes on Instagram or likes on Facebook. However, if you add a Custom Thank You Page (an advanced option in the poll maker), voters will see a »Save« button that redirects them to your Thank You Page.
Voters are not required to use all their dots. This feature is already on our backlog, but I can't provide a timeline for development. As soon as we have updates, I'll keep you posted here.
In our system, voting (including changing votes) is possible as long as voting remains open. Once you close your PollUnit, disable voting, or the voting period expires, votes become locked. I see no strong reason to prevent voters from changing their choices during the voting phase - otherwise, you might be left with an outdated opinion.
