Our committee has deemed that the want a maximum file size of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The system here seems to be the reverse where set sizing is based on a minimum e.g. 3000 x 2000 px. The could lead to some participants submitting images as large as 20,000 pixels on one side. Is there no way to set a MAXIMUM image size where the criteria is based on the prefered sizing?
Our minimum resolution feature is designed to prevent images from being submitted that are too small for a specific use case, such as a photo calendar. A maximum size has not been requested yet, because you can scale the images down. Or is your goal a certain aspect ratio? Please describe your use case in a little more detail so we can better understand the problem.
As follow up on this item: is there a way to define image size based on "number of pixels longest side" ?
For instance: max side 2000px can be either width or height depending on landscape or portrait mode, which is unpredictable for incoming photo's of a photo contest..

You can choose between »min width and height« and »min length short side«. You can configure this in poll creator step 2 »Images« when creating a photo contest.
We set up our Photo contest site with the wizard and set a minimum size, but we are getting an error with large photos that says "Photo dimensions must not be greater than 8000x8000". Where is that setting and how do we remove that restriction? We don't want to limit the resolution.
Hi Andy,
we were setting this up as a security setting, because someone could take down our site by uploading many very large images.
What is the size of your images?
Kind regards
Philipp
