PhotoComp - don't cover the pictures!

In a Photo Competition, there are lots of widgets covering the pictures in the 'main gallery'. The dot-voting buttons are already on a banner below the image - the other information (Title, entrant, '…' menu) should also be on a separate banner (perhaps above the image?) so that the users can see the entire photo.
