Solutions (in order of my preference)
- Allow admin to force participants to vote on ALL options, so they can't just read one option, vote for that and all other options get lowest score by default
- Allow admin to set 'default' value (eg. 3 stars) so participants actually have to change it from the default, and 5 stars is effectively +2 while 1 star is like -2
It's only now that I write this that I realise the value of showing totals for both average (which isn't harmed by non-votes because it doesn't count them) and actual total (which counts a non-vote as lowest possible score)
Hi Luke,
Thank you for the feedback!
In the first wizard step you can select if you want the average calculated by all voters or only the the voters who voted for the image. For most users the total value is irrelevant when the average is calculated by the voters who voted for an image, but we still show the total because it might be interesting for some users, but the average should give the best measure to determine the winner.
Kind regards
Philipp
That's cool. I hadn't clocked that even though I saw it.
It would still be great to have an option to mark options required - as in, you have to vote on all of them.
Currently it is not possible to require a vote on all options. We have heard the request a few times before, but there is a need for a major change here, which we will not be able to address this year.
As soon as we have news about this topic we will post it here.
