Allow ideas to be deleted

Is there a setting that would allow people to delete (essentially retract) their own idea suggestions? I see an option to edit, but not to delete.

They should be able to delete it via the context menu if they created it.

This seems to be variable. Sometimes I see the delete option and sometimes I do not. Many users tell me that they only see the edit option. I can't figure out why it varies.

Ok, we are going to investigate this.

Maybe because people already voted for an idea? Then they should not be able to delete it.
