Anonymous voting at evaluation stage - what are the numbers linked to each person's vote?

When you run an anonymous election and look at the results in evaluation, they are shown anonymously but with a series of numbers appearing for each participant's vote. Does anyone know what these numbers are? What they mean? I want to be sure there's no way that the admin team can't use them to track back and identify who cast which vote. Thanks.

Hi Susannah,
to which screen are you referring? Can you send a screenshot to support@pollunit.com?
Kind regards
Philipp

Thank you for the email. I will answer here so other users benefit from your question as well.

This is a screen shot of the numbers I was referring to that appear next to each vote “name” when cast anonymously. Can you advise what they are/what they mean and, crucially, if there’s anyway for the admin to use them to link back to who cast which vote? We want to ensure there is not, Thanks again

The anonymouse voter names appear like Anonymous-h6sj892lsj4 for example.
This is a random generated name which does not link back to the voter. But it helps for further evaluations. For example if you want to know if voters who voted for x also voted for y.
But you never know who it is. We don't know then either, by the way. Anonymized users cannot be deanonymized.

There is one exception. You can require any additional attributes from voters in the advanced step. If you request a name here, for example, the voters are of course no longer anonymous. But this is optional and not the default.
