Can i reorder columns while the poll is running without loosing votes?

I have a poll running with a Free Table which has many (10) columns. The votes are mostly in the first columns, because i suspect that some people do not see/use the arrow to scroll right to the additional columns.
I would like to edit the poll and move the columns from right to the left that people see them first.
Will this work without loosing data, existing votes?

I tried it with a test poll and resorting columns is possible without losing votes.
