The email links displayed at the top and bottom of the user interface only show the email address in a small pop up in the lower left corner of the screen. No dialog box opens to allow an email to be sent.

I’m not sure which email address you’re referring to. Could you please clarify?
Alternatively, you can send us a screenshot or link at support@pollunit.com.
Thank you for your email!
"The fields in question are the small Envelope shown in the top left of the screen and the Contact Publisher field at the bottom of the screen. When clicked both show our email address in the lower left of the screen, but do not actually allow an email to be sent."
The links you are referring to are simple mailto links. If they are not working for you, the most likely cause is that no default mail program is set on your system. I see that you're using a Gmail address. For Gmail in Chrome, please follow these steps:
If it’s still not working or you don’t see the handler icon, you'll need to check Chrome’s handler settings.
Copy paste this to the address bar:
chrome://settings/handlers
Gmail should appear as an allowed handler. Next to it, you’ll find a context menu (three dots) that lets you set Gmail as your default mail client. After doing this, all mailto links should work as expected.
Users of Outlook or Apple Mail will need to configure their operating system to ensure their preferred mail application is set as the default.
