Hi,
I need to make simple Cosplay contest where I will be show images and voters will vote for only one image.
I tried couple of times but simply cannot achieve that. With Photo Contest visitors can vote for more than image.
How can I prohibit that?
With Image/File voting there is simply not enough space because there will be around 20 participants.
Thanks,
Gorast
Hello Gorast!
You could use our Dot Voting Feature to limit the amount of votes of users. You can choose one dot per option and also limit the total dots to one. Please read more here https://pollunit.com/en/tutorials/dot_voting
We will improve this and add a new voting type. I think this happens early next year.
You can not disable changes of votes. As long as the contest is not closed or the voting period is active users can change their votes any time. If the contest is closed or voting is disabled/finished people can not change their votes. Why do you want to prevent users from changing their votes in the voting period?
I want to prevent changing of votes so they cannot be manipulated in the process of voting.
You can now prevent voters from voting for more than one image
In the advanced step you can activate »Voting is allowed for one image only«. If participants assign another vote, the previous one is removed.
Hi Markus
You say you can activate »Voting is allowed for one image only«, but I have looked in the advanced menu and cannot find this option. I can only, >Allow only one participation> which does not prevent a visitor from voting for more than one image, I was able to vote for three! Can you help please?
Hello Emma!
The option »Voting is allowed for one image only« is located between »Randomize image order« and »Password«. If you still can not find this option, please mail to support@pollunit.com with your admin link. Then we have a closer look.
