How do I add less stars?

Hello I’m looking to do a poll on star voting, but want to have 5 stars first, then 4 on next line of text and so on till 1 star.

How do I do this please?

I am not sure if I understand you correctly. Since you writing about lines of text, I assume you are creating a survey?

If you create a star rating step, each votable option can only be rated in the same scale.
To create multiple option where each option can be rated in a different scale you may can help you with a require information step and create different single choice questions which can be answered with 1 to x.
