I have selected the option in the settings menu for participants to enter in there name before being able to vote.
this did work for my mock up pole (that i used my phone to test) after I started making the polls that I will be using tonight, they are not asking for user information, it simply takes the user that scans the QR code to the poll.
are you able to help?
