I'm trying to set up a contest based on voting. My issue is that most of my images are quite long and vertical and because they're not photos and the resolution is quite small. I am having an issue where the "thumbnail" images on the participant link are blown up and extremely pixelated. Is there any way to change the size of the thumbnails ?
Could you send the link to your contest to email@example.com? Then we have a closer look.
Thanks for your email and your example.
If this is only a quality issue then the problem is not the thumbnail generation but the original files. If you compare your uploads you will see that only some of the images are getting pixelated. This is because they are much smaller than needed.
Just a follow up in case I wasn't suppose to reply to the email:
Yes, the files are small. I was wondering if it's possible for the thumbnails to be smaller or if this is a preset that cannot be changed. I want to be able to fit more thumbnails across the page without having participants needing to scroll down the page in order to see the entire picture because they're quite long.
Hi Jordan! I will discuss this.
At the moment you can not define a thumbnail max height. As long as we have no function for this you could add some space to the left and right side with a graphic program?
I will try that. Thank you for your help!
We released an update. All thumbnails now have a maximum height. They will not get higher than your screen.
However, with your unusual format, I would still add some space to the sides.
