Photograph creation date in the metadata?

Is there a way to display the date a photograph has been created (taken) from the metadata (in addition to focal length, f-stop, etc.)?

This would be very useful for the way our photo class is using PollUnits.

By clicking the context menu (three dots) in the upper right corner of each image you find the item »Show metadata«. In the metadata overlay you can click on »Show all metadata«. Here you should find the information (if the image file contains these metadata).

Fantasic! Exactly what I need, thank you Markus.
