Starting with an empty poll, in a group of friends each member are encouraged to make a few suggestions, and later each member votes between the suggestions made. Is that possible, and if so, which poll type should I select?

Hi Henrik,
Yes that's possible. What do you want to vote on? Just texts? -> Then You can create a "Voting".
We have other PollUnit types for images / videos / audio files.
Kind regards

Hi Philip
I may have been unclear, because I just created a "Voting", as you suggested, however sharing the Participant link (using it in another browser), seems to to be voting on the items that I, as an admin, have registered.
The goal is to let the participants suggest the items (houses) what to vote on in the first place, and later vote on all items suggested.
Did I misunderstand?
Kind regards
Henrik
Hi Henrik,
In step 4 of the wizard you can check "Allow new options" -> this allows participants to add their own options.
Below there is also a setting for configuring a "submission start and deadline"
And below "Allow voting" on the same page, there is also a setting "Voting start and deadline".
With those you can configure periods for people to submit ideas and then a later period to vote on the submitted options.
If you have further questions, let me know!
Kind regards
Philipp
