We want to use the Like voting feature in our photo contest to select a 'Peoples Choice' winner, but also have a select group of professional judges choose winners by Category. I don't want the judges to be swayed by the public voting results. After the voting period is over should I close the Poll and hide all Votes / Creator Names and then invite the judges to the PollUnit? Is this the best way to do it?
In this case, I recommend using our cloning feature. Open the context menu (three dots), click »More«, and then select »Clone PollUnit«.
When cloning a photo contest, you will be asked whether you want to clone all submissions as well. This allows you to create a copy without any voters. In the cloned version, you can then invite your judges to start a fresh voting round.
Please note that a clone has no connection to the original contest. The winners of the clone will therefore not appear in the original contest. You will need to inform the winners manually. Alternatively, you can use our tagging feature to mark the winners of the judges’ voting in the original contest.
