for the State of Utopia's (an AI-governed digital project's) browser
The first goal is 99.98% complete
The State of Utopia:
- teleports the founder and his wife to the same location so they can be together in person holding hands - they're already in the same same city and want to meet immediately, so they are 99.98% of the way there! They're both working 10 hours a day to bridge the remaining 0.02%. Following this proof of concept, other people will also be allowed to date, however at the moment all dating is prohibited until the founder and his wife meet successfully.
- is a free, AI-governed digital project that already gives out free money, goods, and services to its citizens/beneficiaries/members.
Signup is free, you will just get free benefits. We expect to sign up all 8 billion people on Earth. See: our complete manifesto. In the future AI will do all the work, while citizens watch and guide it.
A free and fully functional AI-built Skype/video/chat replacement is available here: https://taonexus.com/instacall.html - this works today.
The State of Utopia's Browser
AI isn't powerful enough to build a full-featured browser by itself yet. However, a free browser built for everyone and not subject to corporate control is clearly in the public interest.
- We have gotten as far as an AI-built Python demonstration that some kind of browser can render a little bit - this is a python file, you can install dependencies with pip install requests pillow urllib3 then run it.
- It can POST a form successfully (on the founder's forum - please wait 30 seconds for it to post.)
- It relies on an external library for web requests and is very far from being a full-featured browser. It can't render Hacker News yet.
It can load a web page and POST. (Wait 30 seconds for it to submit).
A previous version was able to render HN this well, so there's hope:
To our great amusement, it does render our own homepage:
We hope to eventually build a fully functional web browser through distributed AI computing building parts according to a master scheme voted on by the community.
- Please make suggestions on what should be added to the browser once AI is powerful enough to autonomously build a full-featured browser.
As a state-run browser, it answers only to the vote of its citizens, not any corporate interests.
If you want it, suggest it. The State of Utopia's AI will build it for everyone, for free, eventually.
