Repeatedly we were asked if it is possible to add an additional text field or link to the individual options of a PollUnit. A very good idea, but we did not want to complicate the creation of polls.

So we released 3 new features: subtitles, links and our PollUnit helper.

We now start the creation of a PollUnit with a simple question, which helps You to quickly and easily find the basic settings and schema of your PollUnit. All settings like star rating, dot-voting and now also subtitles and links per option can be found under 'advanced schema settings'.

The subtitle function allows all users to add another individual text per option. For example, you can create appointments that describe different days and places.

You can also add links per option that point to additional content, such as web pages or files. This is useful when evaluating the next destination. As an option, you can specify the location and also refer to the website of the hotel.

The poll tool PollUnit has recently been extended to include some new types and options. These settings also affect the basic functions of your surveys.

To make it even easier for you to schedule or create your task lists or requests for evaluation, we have launched our new schema previewer. Now, if you create a new PollUnit, you will see a schematic preview of your poll. Each change to the basic settings is shown schematically. This makes it even clearer what e.g. a change between star rating and dot voting means or how the result changes if you do not choose the target 'best option', but 'distribute options optimally'.
