I don't quite understand the question. Do you want to sell PollUnit plans. Or do you want to sell photos?

photographers will submit photos to compete for prizes. Can I charge photographers to participate in the contests or would that have to be done outside?

At the moment you can not charge photographers any fees within PollUnit. You are not the first one who asks for an entry fee feature. We already planned to integrate this. But we do not know when we start developing it. Once I have further information I will post it here.

Can I change the entry fee for photo contest during the submission period?

No, submission fees can not be changed in a running photo contest.

Feature Enhancement: You now have the flexibility to adjust the entry fee during the course of your photo contest. This enables you to kick things off with an enticing early bird special and subsequently raise the fee as needed.
