contact participants individually

How do I email participants from within pollunit? I'd like the email to look like it was sent from pollunit. I don't want to have to use my personal email to contact the participants.

With PollUnit you cannot send direct e-mails to other users. Depending on the settings of your PollUnit, the email address of your participants may not be known to us.

But I find the idea of personal messages via PollUnit very interesting. Can you tell us a bit more about your use case? Then I will suggest it as an idea at the next Feature Request Meeting. At the moment there is a lot in our dev pipeline; You would have to be patient.

I'm also curious what others think about such an idea?

We were doing a pumpkin carving contest with middle school students and the pollunit was helpful in being able to have submissions centralized. However, some people didn't follow the guidelines, so we wanted to be able to contact them (via pollunit) to let them know to resubmit instead of deleting their submission. Sorry for the delay in responding to your question. Love the pollunit features–overall, they worked well for our group.

Ok, thank you for the feedback. We added this feature request to our TODO list.
For now, when you collected the emails, you can contact your participants via self-sent emails.
