we have published a vote with 14 items.
We wanted to update the subtitle of one of the existing items, but the number of characters now seems limited. But we created all the items together, with subtitles without character limit a few days ago…
We tried to recreate the item in question, but there is still a limit on the number of characters. We tried all possible browsers, without success.

Hello Florence,
when you create a voting and use the table layout, there is a character limit. Votes with the list layout have no character limit. So I guess you first used a list layout and then switched to the table.
As a workaround, you could edit your PollUnit (context menu > Edit) and set the layout to "List" in the first step. After that you can edit the option and then switch the layout back to "Table".
Alternatively, you can send the texts for the option with admin link to support@pollunit.com and we will take care of it. Please do not post the admin link in the forum.
The limit exists only in the tables, because they are not optimized for large amounts of text.
I have to admit that this is a bit confusing. We'll fix that!
