I am collecting suggestions from invited participants. At least one is not able to return to the poll via the link (it says it has already been used). I would like them to return as often as they like until the poll is closed, but don't see a place to specify that one way or the other. Is there a setting for this?
If a user has an PollUnit account (registered user), the user can always rejoin your collection.
If a user participates as guest (without PollUnit account), the user can rejoin as long he or she is in the same session. Session means, the user keep the cookies and does not switch devices. When a user changes the device we can not identify the user anymore.
Using the invitation link to reactivate the user also on different devices would be technical possible but we decided to build it the most secure way. So the invitation can only be used once per session. This secures for example cases where users forwards the invitation mail.
You could choose »PollUnit account and invitation required« from the security options. Then users need to sign up for a PollUnit account and you can make sure that they will be able to participate on all devices.
