I'm guessing this is not possible but let me explain my use case. I have 2 photo contest PollUnits and one has two submission categories and the other just one. Now we would like to display all submissions in a looping slideshow that does not require manual starting and stopping. However this can't be done with separate PollUnits and categories.
I see I can upload images to a PollUnit so perhaps I could download images from the PollUnit with the categories and upload them to a clone of the other one. Would this work? The only issue I would expect in that case is I would lose most of my titles. I'd like to be able to display the titles.

Unfortunately this is not possible. We could think about a copying functionality to copy the images from one contest to another one. We will let you know if this is feasible.

So you mean that I could do the clone and upload but I will lose the titles, correct?
I created a clone of my pollunit with 2 categories. Then I uploaded photos to the clone in the category with the largest number of photos in it, from the other category and another pollunit. This worked fine but when I later revisited the page and looked at the images in the Images tab of the editor, the handles to move photos up or down to change the order were missing. I can't rearrange them now and if I upload another image, right after I upload it, I can see the handle but not move it. Then, when I revisit the page, the handle is gone, same as the rest. I now have 220 images in the cloned pollunit.
