Pages all in German

I am based in the UK but your pages are defaulting to German.
My Chrome browser is set to always translate to English but the urls have /de/ in them and I keep on changing this using the link in the footer but then it goes back again.

I cannot see any setting to change my default to always be English. Please can you advise. I have never experienced this on any other site, and makes the site unusable.

Somehow your account had configured "German" as locale. Do you have any hint, how this could have happened?
I switched it now to English. You can find the setting under "My account"

I have no idea how that happened, thank you for fixing it so quickly :) I tried to find the setting but must have missed it.
