I'd like to add an image to the start of my poll. I tried using HTML [img] code but nothing I tried worked. It seems a bit of a shame not to allow images! There's various formatting options + hyperlinks supported..surely a lot of us would love to upload an image.

I guess you mean adding an image to the description on a Poll? We are going to discuss if we can realise this.
Did you have a look at our theme feature? This way you might be able to style your poll according to your needs.

The themes are nice but I can't customise them. Right now, I simply want to add a picture of the group of us from the gathering this poll is making decisions about.
You can create your own theme with a premium account :-)

You now can upload images to voting and photo contest descriptions as well as to ideas and survey questions. This feature is also available to all free accounts.
